"Do you think that love even exists now. After everything that happened to the world." I feel a lump in my throat. I know my eyes will start watering soon. But I don't care. He has to believe. Believe in us. I reach out for him, trying to touch his cheek. He just pushes me away. I grab his arm twisting him back. His eyes hollowed out and you can barley see his shocking blue eyes. He finally looks at me. I feel him reading me. Everything that happened has changed. It's just us, I hope. He starts to form words with his mouth. "I think love has died with the rest of us. And we can't change that. All life as we know it has died, and so should we."

Charlie Hopkins has survived the economy fail, a deadly plague, and experimental trails. She has nothing else to live for except for Nash. But the question is? What will happen next?
