Depression, abuse, low self esteem, anxiety, terrors, self identity and much more are struggles that hit home for a lot of people. This is the case for 17 year old Canadian girl, Cody Faye. She's been living the last 5 years of her life behind a mask, and frankly, she likes it that way.
During one of the darkest times in her life, somehow she meets 17 year old Michael Clifford from a neighboring school. Soon after meeting Cody, Michael makes it his duty to help this lost star.
Too bad she doesn't want anything to do with him. She doesn't want his help, she was fine before and all this drama is something she absolutely repulses.
He might not be enough, her best friends might not be enough. Cody doesn't want to leave the dark path she's been on for a long time.
Either way, don't expect a fairytale ending.
