Hailey, or Hail, hasn't believed in love since the seventh grade and for three years nothing has changed that. But one October day could change all that. Hail and her friends, Ell and B, make a bet; who can lose there virginity first. The girls quickly set out to prove themselves to the others. But once someone's won, do they really lose?

Ell has lived her whole life as the picture perfect girl, with no bad intentions and few bad deeds, so what happens when the bet leaves her with a life changing decision and her whole world agents her? Will she listen to her family and her boy friend or will she follow what's in her heart?

When B declares she's in on the Bet, her biggest fear is her performance. When the bet is over and someone has won, her fears are confirmed. Suddenly she is thrown on a path of addiction, determined to have perfection. What happened when B's life is put in danger because of her addiction and will it be enough to make her brake her bad habits?

Hail has always believed in her heart that love does not exist so when the bet is dealt to her, she cant resisted. She's sure she is a shoe in. But what happens when the bet is over and Hail is left with so little of what she had, when she realizes that she lost so much trying to prove so little? Will she be able to find what she is missing, and just maybe, find the key to her heart, the key to love?
