Kayla Macy and Skyler O'Hern have been best friends since kindergarten. Kayla is not really the average 15 year old. She is obsessed with cats and 5 Seconds of Summer. She loves science and math. She is a straight A student. Ever since kindergarten everyone thought she was a freak. Her mom was born in Hawaii but she was born in Georgia. On her first day of kindergarten she meets Sky and they became best friends. They grow up together and go to the same high school, Adairsville High School. They joined band in 6th grade and Kayla plays trumpet while Skyler plays the drums. Things get a little chaotic in high school but these besties will pull through.

Not everyone who walk together reaches the destination together. Sometimes, one is left behind. Sometimes, one has to break to complete the other. Silence is love's faithful companion. Love is nothing unless felt. It shows its presence silently, waiting patiently, lurking in the shadows of hearts.
