Brook is a little nerd that is in all AP classes except for English. Taking 3 science classes and 2 more at the local community collage you would assume that she come from a fairy wealthy family. She doesn't she races in the streets of Chicago for money to go to her dream college New York University. 

Indigo is a player that has an ongoing list of all the ladies that he has slept with in the school. He has broken the most religious and traditional lady's at Lake View high school in Chicago.  Indigo is in all of the special education for students that have a learning disability except English. His brother Leo is a major fan of street racing so indigo goes to most of them for free beer. Indigos father walked out when him when he was five and his mother passed when he was 14 so he was just left with his older brother. They where pushed around for a long time than Leo found a way to make money. 

Brooks family is big and messy. Indigos is small and separated. They have know each other for a long time just not personally. But all in all they are opposites and opposites attract.
