In leaving she found her mate, the love of her immortal life. She'd earned everything she wanted as human and in doing so was the happiest she'd ever been. Until a certain brunette moved into the town she'd made home. Jasper Hale was the least in control of his blood lust, being an empath isn't all its let up to be, especially when you live in a house full of hungry vampires. However finding his mate made everything better, as long as he had her he could do anything. Now his "brother" finds his so called mate undoing everything he and his mate have built for themselves.
