On the third day, Sasha rose from the dead.
As an acolyte, I couldn’t attend the ceremony, but in my head I pictured a pale hand bursting from the ground, clawing frantically at the wet earth. I am told that the actual rebirth was not as dramatic, but I still think of vampires as pop culture portrayed them years ago - before we found out they were real.
