"it doesn't matter." he sighed, taking a seat on the porch swing, moving his feet back and forth ever so slightly.
"what do you mean?" she questioned, her eyes meeting his sunglasses, the sunset reflecting off of the blackness. she hadn't seen his eyes in so long.
"you could live in this world and only see darkness, but it doesn't matter. people carry their evil in presentation and intention." she narrowed her eyes, unsure of what he was getting at. "i'm blind, and even in almost pure darkness, i can finally see everything, lua."
