Every time I look into the mirror, I know I'm different. Perfectly normal eyes, skin, and messy hair. But I'm not like normal teenage girls. Every time somebody looks at me, I know just what they see. When I was twelve, I was diagnosed with obesity. I know I should have gone on a diet, I tried. It was just like an addiction, a habit, almost like telling a smoker to just quit. However, I wish I took the long struggle. Now, this is all I'm known for. My name is Marisol Fields, and this is my story.

My parents' divorce taught me that. Smiling faces can still lie to you, and people you trust can walk away like it's nothing. That's why I watch people closely now, especially Ginger. She's my best friend, but sometimes she has this way of knowing things she shouldn't and showing up where she doesn't belong. It's like she's always one step ahead, and not always in a good way.
