After finding cures for most world illnesses, including cancer, he has turned to the field of genetics to create something that he had promised to a friend that he would use to finish his plans of creating world peace. However, since world peace had already been made, and a city built to represent this, the old man just wants to keep his promise to his dying friend by creating something to enhance human performance.
