Alone Again

Stendan fanfiction based around the time Brendan left for Dublin. I wrote this a long time ago but, as you'll be able to tell if you've seen the 'Stendan In Dublin' episodes, Doug and Ste basically break things off when Ste leaves to see Brendan in Dublin - I decided to change it up. My basic storyline is this:

- Brendan is struggling with his feelings about Doug and Ste's relationship, and he is also thinking about Seamus more often, due to being closer to his birthplace.
- Brendan DID hit Ste before he left for Dublin, so that part is accurate to the episodes leading up to 'Stendan In Dublin', however Brendan ends up spending longer by himself and thinking things over and Ste genuinely believes that this is it for him and Brendan, and that Brendan doesn't want him anymore.
- Because Ste believes this, he thinks it's alright to carry on and start a new life with Doug and brings something to give to Brendan, without knowing how Brendan actually feels.

It's pretty complicated and, as I said, was written a while ago but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless! :)
