This is a story about a deaf girl that used to be a neighbour to the Holmes boys when they were little. She's the reason that the boys know sign language and she is the only one who can bring out the human emotions in both of them. She is also one of four people that know what happened to the other one.
Follow the story of Mycroft's deaf (and only) best friend. Will their relationship become something more or will it all fall apart. With near death experiences on both sides the truth will be revealed.

The Syncode
Joanne Hartwell is sent to London via the elder Holmes cousin Julian to hand off a top secret letter to Mycroft Holmes. Joanne's double cipher 'Syncode' is used for communication between the Holmes's as they search for hidden cold war era technology involving a mad physicist. From an abandoned lab in the Bikini Atolls to an historic research base in Antarctica, the final answer lies in the remote desert wilderness of Australia.
