It has been five years. Five years since Prince Ben made the proclamation, to allow the four children of the most ruthless villains to live among them. Five years since Ben fell in love with Mal, and she fell in love with him. But it has also been five years since they have last seen each other. When the magic barrier was broken, the four children did not choose good, instead, there parents came to Auradon- only to take then back to the isle and turn them evil again. You see since then, Ben and Audrey are engaged, but not one day has gone by that mal wasn't in his head. 
  When the four children return to Auradon what will happen?

He cared about everyone, even the ones no one thought were actually worth caring for. One day, the month before his coronation, he made his first proclamation. He wanted to give the children of the villains his father had abandoned to the isle of the lost, an equal chance in Auradon. And so he invited four villain kids to Auradon Prep. Mal, daughter of Maleficent; Jay, son of Jafar; Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; and Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen. Most people thought they would be just like their parents; evil, vicious and cruel. But Ben was convinced that even those who were raised to be villains had a good heart. And he wasn't wrong about that. It came with some struggles, but they found their place in Auradon too. After his coronation he decided that more kids had to come over, as the first four proved that they could live just like other Auradoniens in the kingdom, amongst the other citizens. Carlos is devastated in the isle knowing he DIDN'T steal the wand but his own friends never looked deeper into it and went by the fake "proof" they received by Chad and Mal has to make the painful Decision to send him back to the isle. Carlos is labeled a villain and monster from the people of Auradon, and a backstabber from the VKS and the Villains still on the isle. Carlos finally snapped after years of being tormented by Mal and Jay, pushed around by his mother, and now sent away and having his whole life being ripped from him for something he didn't do because Ben and Mal were incompetent when handling the situation, and follows the path both Audrey and Cassandra went down, and quite literally the same path Cass did because he breaks out of the isle and TAKES the Moonstone before Mal can put it safely in The Isle Can Mal, Evie, Jay, Ben and Fairy Godmother realize their horrible mistake in time and can Cassandra and Audrey try to talk him out of the path he's going knowing they been down that road before, or is Carlos and Auradon a lost cause.
