A long time ago, my great-great grandpa Felix began a story. He was born in Sicily, when it wasn't a part of Italy, and lived there for while. While going to meet a friend, he saw a beautiful young lady, with long curly hair. He introduced himself, and after a while of courting, they began to truly love each other. The woman though, had a jealous, overprotective, elder brother. When he found out that she was seeing a man he hadn't chosen, he tried to have him killed. Felix fled Sicily, which was now a part of Italy, and came to America. There, he was forced to change his last name and live quietly.
I never knew the reason why my family had never gone back to Italy, even for a visit, but I was the first to step foot into the country after all those years. So here is where I come in. Today, I finish my great-great grandpa's story, and it starts, with a seven hour layover.
