This is the first title in the miniseries "Heart of a Hero". All of the titles in this series will have military veterans as hero and/or heroine. The stories are inspired by the writer's work as a therapist at a Veterans Administration facility. With these books I hope to honor the sacrifices of our military members and the stories they have to tell.

Always Faithful
Our favorite characters from The Royal Romance are U.S. citizens in this Alternate Universe, and are involved in the military life. In this series, the characters will be members/spouses of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force. You will follow their lives as they are stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I am SO excited about this series! I served in the U.S. Air Force myself, as well as my husband served in the U.S. Marine Corps. A lot of what is written in this FanFic series will be based on real-life military standards and ways of life, but some of it will be fiction. My husband was actually stationed in Okinawa, Japan several years ago, so a lot of my knowledge and ideas for this story will be "researched" through him, as well as my own knowledge and experiences in the military. I am air lifting our precious characters out of Cordonia and transforming them into U.S. born citizens who proudly serve the U.S. military. The characters may stray a bit from canon, specifically "Prince/King Liam". The military mindset/personality can be very different, especially in contrast to how the characters are in The Royal Romance. In this series, I have them growing up as Americans. They will not be exactly as you know them, however, I will be sticking to their personalities as much as possible. Always Faithful will involve a lot issues that many military members and their spouses go through. It is not my intention to make this series "dark", but it will not always be sunshine and rainbows. Against all odds
this is a real book and the description that I will put hear is from the back of the book called Purple Hearts By Tess Wakefield. Cassie Salazar and Luke Morrow couldn't be more different. Sharp-witted Cassie works nights at a bar in Austin, Texas to make ends meet while pursuing her dream of becoming a singer/songwriter. Luke is an Army trainee, about to ship out for duty, who finds comfort in the unswerving discipline of service. But a chance encounter at Cassie's bar changes the course of both their lives. Cassie is drowning in medical bills after being diagnosed with diabetes. When she runs into her old friend Frankie, now enlisted in the Army, she proposes a deal: she'll marry him in exchange for better medical insurance and they can split the increased paycheck that comes with having a "family." When Frankie declines, his attractive but frustratingly intense friend Luke volunteers to marry Cassie instead. What she doesn't know is that he has desperate reasons of his own to get married. In this unforgettable love story, Cassie and Luke must set aside their differences to make it look like a real marriage...unless, somewhere along the way, it becomes one... this is just my take and a story on what I think could happen next based on how I understood the book and movie.Concluida
