For Gaia Harsh, things have not been going well. Two years after her mother dies, leaving her family in shambles, Gaia's life is turned upside-down yet again when her work-obsessed father does the unthinkable: whisks her away from San Francisco, CA, to a sleepy Texas town that's stuck in the past.
