What would you do in a world where everyone has a significant superpower but you don't?
Liam is struggling with this problem since he had a car accident that caused him to lost his invisibility power. The bad news didn't sink in. Weeks after the incident, he visits park at the night and lights a cigarette, hoping to forget his problem. But smoking doesn't seem to work and he has and emotional breakdown. Suddenly, his depressing thoughts are interrupted by a stranger, who claims that he can give his superpower back. With some terms and conditions. Blah blah blah. Boring.Liam accepts it without questioning it. He doesn't know yet, but it will cause some serious problems...

Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
