Loosely based on 5sos’ song “English Love Affair”

Michael Clifford never thought he would see the day where he would want to leave his boyfriend, but as beatings become more intense and frequent Michael starts to hope for something better. He finds Luke Hemmings. First problem: Michael is scared for his life as well as his family’s. Second problem: Luke lives in London while Michael lives in Sydney. How will Michael protect himself and get the boy of his dreams?

Hemmo1996: Do you think we’ll actually meet some day?
Michael chuckles. He shows his phone to Calum for him to see and he laughs.
“Poor kid has no idea,” Calum says.
michaelgclifford: Of course I do.
Hemmo1996: It just feels hopeless. I like you so much but you’re so far away.
