When I slammed my locker shut and turned to see Toby standing there, watching me, I jumped in fright and dropped my bag. Talk about speaking of the devil. I picked it up quickly before he could and said a rushed "hi" before turning to leave. But Toby pulled me back to him making my flustered countenance change and I was suddenly defensive. I pulled away and made a face. "Do you need something or something?" I questioned him. "Relax," he said. "Are you in a hurry?". He sounded so sweet. And why was he looking down at me so innocently? I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people.
