I slide the green button to answer the call, and his face appears on my iPhone screen.
"Listen I know it's late back home and all, but I have been busy all day and it was hard to find time to call you when it was daytime there, so sorry about that But I figured you'd be up anyways."

Life is panning out exactly how I expected it to. I made it to high school. I'm a teenager. I don't have any of the partying and spring break memories I'd hoped for, but it's not bad.
