Ivy Turner is your average high school junior. She does well in school and has an occasional crush on a hot guy, but when she saw Michael Taylor for the first time freshmen year, she couldn't get him out of her head. She kept her true feelings hidden, hoping they would go away.
In her third year of crushing on Michael, Ivy is tired of running from her feelings. Deciding to give up on any chance with Michael, she tries to move on. But when Michael starts noticing her, Ivy feels she is living a fantasy. As the relationship grows, events from the past start showing up again.
