All Kaydense wants is a bit of normality. So is this what normal is? Getting accepted into the university she applied for in New York with her best friend? Her parents moving back to Australia? Kaydense doesn't know what normal is. It doesn't exist. She would never say it out loud but deep down she knows she's running from the nightmares of her past.
For Luke, normal is out of the picture. Anything other than the highs of meaningless sex and alcohol is his version of torture. He will do just about anything to keep his tragic memories at bay. But what happens when he meets Kaydense?
The two don't really understand each other, and although they don't know it; they are so much alike. And in their own twisted way and for their own unfortunate reasons, neither of them can handle one another.
