The Bearers

Her life.

Alexa Magnuson lived ten years of her life in near isolation after her father's death. Her only aim in life is to avenge his death.

Somehow Alexa finds herself in the middle of a missionary group that calls themselves the Bearers who claim that their purpose of life is to maintain peace between the worlds of the living and the dead. They are sole heirs to a world of manipulating the elements of the earth, what they called Bearing.

The only thing that tips her over is discovering her father's involvement with them and the need to learn more. Whats more, the balances have been disturbed, between both, that worlds and the houses of the Bearers and a war is brewing, surrounding her with sinister magic, choices and betrayal.

The fate of both worlds now rest on her shoulders but everything comes with a price. What if the price for ending this war is nothing but her life, her bones?
