This is a story about a girl who thinks the biggest problem in her life has to do with the fact that her parents died and she can no longer find comfort in anyone. She's moved from her old town to a newer one. One that is much richer and definitely much more advanced. Framacrox. Here she comes to live with the Blackwells who mysteriously chose to adopt HER instead of the other children who were much younger than she was. While staying at the house during the summer she finds rooms with secrets. While walking around town she hears whispers of rumors. When school starts she meets Carter.

At the End of the Day

19 capítulos Em andamento

Rae is a quiet high school student who has long admired Zayn, the popular and charming boy in her class. The story delves deep into Rae's journey of quiet longing, self-discovery, and the painful realities of unrequited love. Throughout the chapters, Rae experiences the joy of subtle interactions with Zayn, the intensity of her hidden feelings, and the heartbreak of a confession that isn't met with the response she hoped for. As she navigates through the fallout-rumors, rejection, and emotional turmoil-Rae learns valuable lessons about bravery, self-worth, and the importance of staying true to oneself. In the end, Rae finds closure, not from Zayn's acknowledgment, but through the realization that her worth isn't defined by someone else's feelings. As the years pass, Rae looks back on her high school crush with a sense of acceptance and peace, understanding that love is not always about being with someone-it's about knowing and loving oneself first. This is a poignant coming-of-age tale about the power of vulnerability, the courage to face rejection, and the beauty of growth after heartache.
