Well, I guess I should start by telling you my name is Alexandra. Also, I'm an orphan. But my story doesn't end with me finding my parents, or getting adopted. Nope, this isn't Annie. Oh, and this isn't a story where some guy comes and tells me that I have magic because I'm some long-lost princess and I was sent to Earth for my protection. This isn't your average fairy tale.

Well, now that you know what this isn't about, I should probably tell you about myself. I have some kind of magic or something. And when my emotions get out of control, some freaky crap happens. And, a lot of the time, someone gets hurt. Or dies. And I hate that people get hurt because of me. So I'm running away. No more foster families, no more moving every couple weeks. This isn't the first time I've run away, but it will be the last. Because I'm going to Sparrow's Wing, where no one can ever find me.

"Hello, are you there ?" "Yes, I am. I will always be there." "Can I ask you something?" "Sure my love." "Why don't I feel scared of you? I am here, in my room, talking to a stranger who is invisible, I don't even know your full name. But..but I feel attracted towards you. I feel like you are very near to my heart. Why do I feel like this? Isn't this wrong?" "That is because you are my beloved, love." "Beloved? Do you mean "vampire-kinda-beloved"?" "Yes darling," he replied. "But how do I believe you?" Suddenly my surroundings became darker. A figure started to appear in front of my eyes. He was tall, porcelain-skinned, pure black eyes, jet black hair, well built, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans along with a black jacket. He was standing there looking like a Greek god while I was sitting on my bed with a messy bun on my head and a tub of ice-cream, looking like a homeless person. I was staring at him as if he was the 8th wonder of the world. "Wait a minute, you are ...y-you.." "Yes, I am " This is not a prologue. It's just an insight into what the book is about. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first book .. so have a little mercy on me... sorry if it's very bad ... hope you enjoy reading it. Highest ranking #1 on June 19th 2016 (OMG) AT FIRST, YOU MIGHT FEEL THAT IT IS BASED ON TWILIGHT SERIES OR ITS A FAN FICTION OF TWILIGHT, BUT IT IS NOT! IT IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY! JUST DON'T STOP READING THE BOOK AFTER FIRST FIVE CHAPTERS.
Cassiopea's School for the Gifted by artsykid04
12 parts Complete
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited
HIDDEN- Sides, Truths, Secrets by NavroseKaur88

Rose knew she isn't normal. And neither was her family. Like which family force their daughter to live alone and change her house every single fucking year, definitely not a normal one. She wanted to find answers to all the hidden secrets kept by her family and she got the chance when one day, during her 'annual ritual' of shifting houses, a group of zombies attacked her........ and she met him. ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ "Creature?" "Well, it implies to all kinds collectively. Both of bright land and dark land. The world is roughly segregated into three categories. First where humans reside alongside hunters, second Bright land, where all the mermaids, fairies, Pegasus, etc. creatures of the day live and on the contrary, third, the dark land where creatures of the night like vampires, werewolves, zombies, dragons, etc. live." ------------------------------------But what she didn't know was she has inherited the curse which had destroyed her mother's life before and is about to do the same with her. ------------------------------------ "So I am not a human? I am half dark and half bright land's creature?" "And that's what makes you human. How do you think the first human was born? Humans are hybrids of creatures of dark and light. But the firstborn humans had superpowers. Power no one can control. But with evolution, most humans lost their powers. Some are still left, those are known as hunters, but their powers are nowhere as strong as the firstborns." "So if Damon found out that I am a half-half hybrid, he will kill me?" "Without a doubt." First I couldn't be with my mate because he is a vampire prince and I belongs to a family of werewolves and now this. Fuck my life....... ------------------------------------
Vampire's Pet by cannoness
88 parts Complete Mature
The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. The rich and powerful humans could survive just as they had been, untouched by the vampires save for the occasional blood collections, or so they thought In reality, we were all under their control. Castles spread out throughout our land, one landing in each city. Each castle varied in the number of vampires residing there, but all of them carried a Lord. The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left. Ever since then, I've lived in a cage, just rotting away, waiting, dreading for the day that some monster would make me his. This is my life. I am a pet. ~~~ Cover by: @mshacake
Human Status by DanickaCastro
1 part Complete
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.

Tell Me Pretty Lies

25 parts Ongoing Mature

From the second you're in this world they tell you what is fair. What questions your allowed to ask and the ones you can never dare say. I find it damn near funny that most of you are reading this and know exactly what I mean. They put you on the path they've paved for you as kids we don't question it or even wonder if it's right for you. But beyond your paths edges is a land made up of risks and dangers. You feared it they tell you no good will come from it but how do you really know? Truth be told I was the girl who had her whole life planned out for her, straight A's, best friend, and two loving parents. I know what I wanted what I needed and I knew how to fight like hell for it. There's a reason why everyone prefers pretty lies over the bitter truth and it's usually because they can't handle the truth but I think the most likely thing is they can't handle what happens to the person once the truth comes out that's what happened to me. I was happy the way things were and then one day everything blew up in my face. Maybe the happy girl I was would have been happy living a lie for the rest of her life but no matter what the truth always comes out. So I ask you what would you have wanted the bitter truth or the pretty lie?
