Thor and Loki are brothers, but even the Asgardians can't fight their feelings For each other. 

It is, infact, forbidden For them to be together. But they don't care, they know they are brothers but Loki is adopted, which doesn't help Thor with his feelings For the younger god.

Thor is needed back on midgard and has to leave his love in Asgard. He promised to be back as soon as possible but it has been years. When Thor returns to Asgard he is shocked to see the Loki of now from then. 

Thor tries everything to get the old Loki back, and what one thing comes to mind is taking him to midgard and meet his team, the Avengers.
