The slave trade: a horrific event that took place during the 20th century. The Europeans, mainly the English, sailed their ships to the coastal counties of west Africa. They captured Africans and gave those who remained weapons. Then the Africans were shipped across the ocean to the Americas, to work in plantations. They were treated like animals.
What would have happened if the English had been the ones who were slaves? What if the slave trade had happened in reverse? What would have happened if the Native Americans hadn't been slaughtered?
Years after slavery had been abolished, a White president is elected in America. A civil war breaks out because of his policies. As a result of the war, the Great Wall is built. This keeps the Whites in the South and the Blacks in the North.
This story follows the life María Sofía Okpara. A 16 year old girl, who is born in a time when the war and slavery are ancient history. She is taught by propaganda to hate the Whites, because the are savage monsters.
But, what will happen when she actually meets a White in the flesh?
