(This story is currently in a semi-rough state as I started writing it when I was 13. I have edited it since, but I would like to completely rewrite it. I'm prioritizing another story on a different platform right now, but I would love feedback on what's already here! Thank you!)
Elaine Gray lived an ordinary life, full of trips to the mall with her friends and family outings. Everything changed when a mysterious killer took the lives of her family, leaving her to suffer. After hearing legends from the children in her new home, the orphanage, Elaine calls on a demon to help her kill the man who ruined her life. What she doesn't know is that this would lead her to a life as a demon swordmaster, whose sole purpose is to make sure the worst of the demons are not walking the Earth and terrorizing those who live there. Forgetting her past, Elaine changes her identity and accepts the task eagerly, unaware that the weight of the world would soon rest on her shoulders, and she would once again lose everything.
