Burning Bridges

Sam fucked up. He knows it and Dean knows it, but he won't let Dean stay behind and try to pick up the pieces. So Sam convinces his older brother to go to college, but the expanse of time alone allows for depressive thoughts and soon Dean's spiraling.
Castiel finds him on the bridge, and despite all rational thought he lets the shipwrecked freshman into his life - despite his own anxiety problems and his own shattered past.
When two worlds collide and shocking details are revealed, can Dean and Castiel maintain their friendship - and the tenuous relationship they've built on top of the rocky foundation of their own fears? Will Sam ever forgive himself, ever let anyone close again?
