"What are you doing here?"

A quick turn of a head. "I could be asking you the same thing."

Quiet laughter. "I'm here for the same reasons as you are."

A raised eyebrow. "And what would that be?"

"We're both as lonely as each other. We both have had our failings against this war. We both know how the other feels."

It's January 1st and Harry's mourning the losses in the war.
