Summary:

After two years of training they all underwent surgery to genetically alter themselves to control certain elements, after the experiment was thought to have failed. They we're locked up in a top secret base ten miles under ground in the desert.

   This book is based Five hundred years in the future on Mars, a planet that gained independence fifty years ago. Now, two years after a civil war, a weapons company ,Tempest, looks to take this opportunity to gain control of the now dysfunctional government.
