Blurry trees went by as the bus passed through a nice forest. It smelled like honey suckles on a early spring morning. The sun was starting to rise and it looked as if purple and orange cotton candy was thrown in the air. Summer, a long journey with many surprises. I was excited for what the world had to offer this time.
My twin sister June was twirling her gum in her fingers and staring at the back of the set in front of us as if it was some complicated math problem. She was a mystery waiting to be solved, and as for me... Well that's a whole other story.
"Squeeeekkkkk"! The bus stopped all of a sudden and me and June were jerked forward. Good way to start the day.
I took my ear buds out so I could here what the bus driver was saying. "Anyone getting off at..." He loved at the screen of his GPS. "Black Hallows"?! He yelled as if he were deaf. Seeing as there were only two others on the bus we were the only ones to get off.
I thanked the bus driver and he sped off like a maniac. Jeez.
"Here we are". June said more as a question then a statement. And that's how the journey began. Down a dirt road threw a forest.
And that's how it all started for Luke Green.

They'd forget about any trouble if only for a few moments and that made me feel good to know they were a little lighter as they went on about their day. He held out his hand. "I'm Zachary." "Ooh A to Z in a new way. Cool." I shake his hand and it doesn't escape me how he holds it a second longer and trails his thumb over the back of my hand. Ooh he was flirting. I give my best flirty smile. He was hot, why not. "Maybe we could hang out find new ways to go from A to Z?" I flirt. I watch his tongue sneak out and lick his lips as his eyes skim over me. I don't know how long I stayed there, kneeling to the ground and staring at my parents' corpses. Their blood stained most of my body as I rubbed my face trying to get it off. I furrow my eyebrows as I notice the drops of blood on the ground, not knowing if those were from my tears or injuries. The others have managed to distract them enough from hurting me, but I can't seem to get up and leave my parents alone. I hiccup as I look over to where the monsters that killed my parents are standing. My heart drops and my eyes widen as I see a familiar little girl with strawberry blonde hair being restrained. "W-What are you doing?!". I feel the panic settle in again. "LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!". I whisper a 'no' as someone holds me back and I cry out as I feel the pain shoot up my arm from the strong hold. I try to see through my tears but can't tell who the guy is. I look over to my sister and notice they were holding another boy with us. The guard behind me sighs, and goosebumps run over my arms as he takes me over to what seems their leader before they start whispering. They both nod to each other before they start approaching us. The last thing I remember was the boy yelling "NO!" before darkness took me out.

I look at California. She sits on my lap in the circle of us pot heads. She's not what I expected. She smokes she's the most sarcastic person I've ever met. She's smart but hates school.
