Chase has been in love with his best friend and childhood crush Melody for as long as he can remember going to elementary school. This interest keeps him up every night, and it continued even when he asked her out and she rejected him. Melody was then busier with life, and the two of them slowly drifted apart, staying as low maintenance friends that were glad to see each other once in a while. So when Chase tries to grab a chance to see her again, Melody agrees over text but something happens to her that makes Chase only hope for the best.
