Misty is a young 15 year old girl. She recently moved in with her dad after her mother's tragic death. After years of living in Nashville, Tennessee in 1983, she's been growing closer and closer with her best friend, Michael. Michael tries his best to be there for her, because of the countless things that have happened to Misty, but there is one thing that Misty has never told Michael, or anyone for that matter.  Behind those sunglasses that she's worn since the accident, hides one of the secrets she dared to keep.  With Michael's vulgar girlfriend also causing problems between their friendship, a surprise road-trip to Misty's hometown, and her complicated house problems, can Misty keep it together? Or will this be another tragedy waiting to happen?
