A Japanese soldier writes his final letter home to his wife in Hiroshima, after the atomic bombing of 6 August. In the wake of utter devastation, he imagines his wife still waiting faithfully for his return. He removes his uniform and shuts out everything - the war, the destruction, the ruin, and focuses solely on their reunion. And in death, none of the suffering will ever touch them again.

This book is on a very long hiatus maybe even discontinued due to circumstances that do not let me access my manga, so from now on I can only write based on episodes that are out. But I do have another one I'm currently writing that will be out soon or already up on my profile. Y/n is from the village hidden under the sun and moon. As long as she can remember she had been hated not that they would show it. Everyone would always make fun of here and call here names but they found out that that was one of the worst things they could have done. Y/n had the ability to erase the existence of the previous gods giving them eternal freedom but some of them found out what true hell felt like in their eternal suffering.

Her voice meandered through his ears as she sang. It was like a prayer, like the choir of hundreds of angels singing to a god he only knew when he was with her. His head rested in her lap, her soothing hands tracing tiny rivulets in the white locks of his hair, lulling him to sleep. Cherry blossoms fell around them, recalling the first day he saw her back in school, and when she smiled at him, he could swear he was floating. *** She smiles at the memory, amber eyes flooding with the ghost of her printed evocation of a white haired man kissing her cheek.
