Snow White: Tagalog Poetry

Every talent, whether inborn or acquired, has a root; a thing, place or person that sprung the weapon from the depths of the human psyche. In my case, it all started with a girl. It's a bit cliche to use the word, but boy, was she amazing. It was the first time I felt that feeling, and it was during a tumultuous time in my personal life. The emotions, the inspirations, the pain and suffering and the hope of things being better; it all contributed to the simmering of my writing to where it is today. If I hadn't met her, if I hadn't gone through all the the suffering, I might not be here writing these poems. And I can't imagine what the future holds after I survive another seven years.
