This was an essay for a World Literature class with the objective being to rewrite Kafka's Metamorphosis in a modern setting. Obviously, my writing doesn't compete with Kafka, but I did my best. I actually wrote this while looking at a bullet point list of the events from the Metamorphosis, so events and actions should follow closely but with changes I personally chose for my depiction to be distinctive. Some of my classmates wrote happier (and much shorter) endings, including Gregor flying away. I stand by my choice :D

This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time. I Became The Villain's Secretary
After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully. So I just cleared all the suspicions he might have about me in order to not incur his wrath and die like in the novel. * * * "I'll give you a choice." The corner of his lips raised crookedly. Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. "Two, let me kill those who dared to give you the idea of resigning...then don't go and stay here forever." No, haven't I already made sure that the villain has become a little more normal!? ...What the heck is going on!? He shouldn't be like this!

I was stabbed by a knife on my way home. I'm just helping a grandma but got killed in the process. Waking up, I became Akira Shein Argyros. One of the capture target in a Bl Otome Game I recently played. I hate all the characters guts in the game. All are possessive and obssessed. It's a dark theme bl game. Everyone are overwhelmingly crazy. Especially, this Akira. That's why, now that I possess his body I knew for sure am the only one normal in this world. Let's not get into the drama. Let's escape this hell place full of dark drama and try to find a place where actually normal people lives. Or so I thought? "Don't think you can escape from us" "Baby, your existence are ours only." "You dare to ignore and leave us? You're wishing for everyone's death" "Ignore or leave us again, I promise I'll burn every places your feet set into" "I'm sorry. But I have to agree with them... You should have think it twice, when you make us fall in love with you and then disappear from everyone's sight... the consequences... You... are our possession " "......." Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass about anything from the storyline. Those fucking capture targets are so damn stupid, falling for an idiotic birdbrain heroine. Actually, they probably only fell in love with her for their egos. Why should I ever feel that they're a threat to my life? I'm a duke and duchess' daughter of a powerful kingdom, I'm smart, beautiful, and powerful. I'm just generally better than them. Yeah, I'll just focus on my work as the heir of the dukedom, spoil my brother, improve my magic and swordsmanship, play around, and kill annoying people. This shall be my new life as the prodigy of the century! This is my own story, not fanfiction. All my characters are original. Yes, like all of the other villainess novels out there, we have transmigration in to a villain. And yes, this is like all of the other novels out there, we do have a Mary Sue as our protagonist. for my final project in college i have decided to rewrite how i wanted game of thrones to end. this was originally a script but i decided to alter it into a sort of fanfic.
