This is a sonnet i wrote for my english class. Storyline Romeo and Juliet inspired. It is not in perfect iambic pentameter and one line has nine syllables instead of ten.

You may notice my writing has more description than plot, I do that on purpose to give a poetry yet still story effect on my writing. Our Silent Vows
She was mine long before she knew it. I had been raised in shadows, in a world where power was survival and choice was an illusion. But then there was her. She slipped into my life unexpectedly and defiantly, her eyes too bright for a town like this one. She was unafraid of what lay beneath the surface, thinking she could walk away and resist the pull. But every step she took only bound her tighter to me. She was delicate but stubborn, fierce enough to face what others ran from, even if she didn't fully see it yet. She was the only thing I had ever chosen. I would break anything to keep her, everything, even her illusions of freedom. Because in a world that offered no choices, she became my one certainty. R&J (G&A) // TRAGEDY
I wrote this play for a man. Our long-distance relationship seemed like Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene. The story is based on the original Shakespearean work, but I tried to make it deeper to capture and cherish all of the moments we shared together. The play is full of metaphors, so don't take everything literally. Mostly, it is about my insecurities regarding the long-distance aspect, and the play actually came before we were able to see each other in real life. He wanted to see my poems, but I gave him something more precious-the most precious gift I was ever able to give.Lengkap
