Everyone is born with a countdown on their wrist. It counts down to the time you meet your soulmate. my second chance (Haikyuu au)
This is a haikyuu soulmate au. The way the soulmates work is they will get a colour stripe on their dominant wrist, the colour will be their soulmates favourite colour and will be scented like their soulmate. Their soulmate's initials will be engraved in with the stripe. if the initials are white then the soulmate is platonic and if the initials are black then the soulmate is romantic however this can change but that is very rare. The stripe appears at birth. It is possible for someone to not get a stripe but some people can get a delayed soulmate and develop their stripe later but not all. If the soulmate is romantic, then the soulmate will stay true to the persons sexuality. If the soulmate gets hurt the person will be able to sense where (if its physical pain). Mental pain works slightly differently so for example, their soulmate is going through grief, they can feel ever so slightly what the soulmate is feeling so sometimes people can be found suddenly tearing up, even in the happiest of moments, of sadness. If the soulmate is uncomfortable or has been harassed, the person will get visions of it almost like looking back on a memory. when soulmates kiss their stripes will glow slightly.Concluida

When you turn 18 you can hear your soul mate a.k.a tap into their thoughts. Ten minutes left on the clock that was attached to my wrist as a baby. We're all given them, and while I'm not entirely sure how they work, they've yet to be wrong. Marking Ceremony
The last girl was just checked in. Now the count down begins. 5.... This is how it works, us girls run into a building and go to different locations. 4.... We stay put or walk around until a male finds us and wishes to claim us has his. 3.... They claim you by marking you. You can guess what happens after the marking. 2.... Than they take you out of the building and show us off to everyone as theirs.1.... And that is now why, my sister, my bestfriend, and I kicked off our heels and are now running, full on sprinting into this beautiful huge building. And we are not coming out until we are claimed.
