-completed- Jack looked down at the timer on his wrist and sighed. In 6 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 5 seconds, he was supposed to find his soulmate. Ironically, he had a Vid-Con panel with some friends that day. He often turned down the possibility that it might be one of them, and he assumed that it would be some random event. Possibly a phone call, or someone wandering on stage. He didn't really understand how the clock worked, all he knew was that the second your clock hits zero, you would kiss your soulmate. You can't control it. They may be in a completely different country, but your brain makes you fly there. Nothing gets in the way. Mark looked down at his wrist. He couldn't help but wonder who his soulmate might be, all he knew was that he'll be with them in 6 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 5 seconds. ~~~~~ Hey! He was my exact opposite but hey opposites attract right? You know how some people believe in soul mates? Well in my world everyone knows they are real. When you turn 18 you can hear your soul mate a.k.a tap into their thoughts. And even if you've known your soul mate your entire life you won't know until the first time you see them either on or after your 18th birthday and it is like love at first sight. Marking Ceremony
The last girl was just checked in. Now the count down begins. 5.... This is how it works, us girls run into a building and go to different locations. 4.... We stay put or walk around until a male finds us and wishes to claim us has his. 3.... They claim you by marking you. You can guess what happens after the marking. 2.... Than they take you out of the building and show us off to everyone as theirs.1.... And that is now why, my sister, my bestfriend, and I kicked off our heels and are now running, full on sprinting into this beautiful huge building. And we are not coming out until we are claimed. Everyone is born with a countdown on their wrist. It counts down to the time you meet your soulmate.
