Otogakure, also known as the Hidden Village of Sound. Created by Orochimaru, it was the newest hidden village to enter the Chunin exams. It was composed of elite ninjas, all hand picked and trained by Orochimaru himself. 
Very little is known about the Sound Village, and they try very hard to keep it that way. The secrets buried there are astronomical, and punishable by death to those who spill them.
Other than that, they were like a regular village. They had their leader, their ninjas, and their outcasts. This was one of those outcasts.
