Beginning her junior year of high school, Leigh Hawkins is starting at the new music institution. With her brother and his annoying friends at the local public school, Leigh is relieved to rid herself of their shenanigans and eager to make friends with the same passions she shares. Without her brother's protection, Leigh is left alone to experience awkward first kisses, jealousy, competition, and friendship.
