There is a race beyond humans. Half-witches. Not witches, their another story. These half-witches have rules, a big fat rule book in fact, every household has a copy of it. One of the rules, the golden rule, is to never have more than one child. Break this rule, and the first will perish, leaving the second child with the half-witch government's crest carved on the kid's face. Twins are a little complicated, true, but they face the same consequences all the same. However, Gordon Heights and his mortal wife break the rule and get away with it, because a member of the government has a soft spot for Gordon. Thirteen years later, disaster strikes, leaving the whole half-witch population stricken. The Heights family will have to trust each other... But will their love for each other be enough? Because the disaster isn't the only danger...

The description might not be that good, but I really enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy reading it. Was written by me at 13 it is cliche and full of spelling and grammatical errors, that I'm not going to fix (I'm lazy). Read at your own risk.
