100 years ago in the estranged star system Iota Tallus, a supernova destroyed the home planet of a species of humanoid aliens. The survivors that knew of the catastrophe before it's arrival fled into a ship, Orchia V, designed to sustain their people for millions of years. On a constant search for a planet to call their own they discovered Earth. Conquering the planet, making it their new home and enslaving the native population they had finally found a secure future. Or so they believed.
At age 16, Juliette is next in line for the Kaladrian crown and only months away from the marriage to her fiancé, Prince Sebastienne of Treopra. He's everything she's ever dreamed of and her life is the epitome of perfection as she makes her way to being the ruler of the people. Until her father does the unspeakable. The age of reproduction is moved down to 16, meaning she is required to bear a child through insemination. Sebastienne's child. Except that the child is born and it's not alien, it's human.

The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. After being convicted of a murder she didnt commit alita is left stranded on the hostile world filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty monsters. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive.
