As Hikaru was walking back from school, blood dripping from his fist and forehead, he heard the crying again. He follows the sound threw streets and roads eventually to find a girl, not that much older than him crying with her head in her hands, in the corner of an alley.

He invites her back to his house to reveal that she is a trapped spirit left on earth. He falls in love with her, and a deep but awkward relationship begins...
