"Here, let me help.." I suddenly felt Trevor's warm presence behind me. My eyes watched as he slowly trailed his hands down my arms. Tingles flying in every part of my body as his hot breath fanned my soft skin, whispering "Ready?" into my ear. I slowly nodded, his hands landed on top of mine, both of us now holding the shovels handle. His chin rested on my shoulder, his manly cologne filling my nostrils. I bit down hard on my lip as his thumb gently traced my hand before slowly pulling the shovel up into the air, his grip on my hands tightened as we brought it down, instantly breaking the soil to pieces. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spoilt and used to getting her own way, Adriana is in for a shock when her parents decide to send her to a small town to live with her Grandparents for the summer. Being the drama queen that she is, she thinks her life is ending when she is torn out of her bright and colourful clothes and put into a pair of overalls to help out at her grandparents farm...She soon meets Trevor, a farmer boy who isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty and in her own words "totally not her type". That soon changes though, when she gets to know him and learns very quickly how lucky she actually is. Will Adriana realise that there is more to life than just clothes, parties and money...or will she stay the same and return back home after summer with the same attitude she left with? • Highest ranks: #1 in Summer romance #1 in Rich girl #2 in Farmgirl ⚠️This book contains strong language⚠️

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. Kelsie Newman has spent the last three summers on complete lockdown, totally unfair since she lives on Bailey's Island, a hotspot for luxury vacation homes and the wealthy families that come with them - at least on one side of the island. On the other side, Kelsie is following all the rules of summer, she's working shifts at her family's restaurant, getting a headstart on her summer homework, and staying clear of the Archer boys, who were once her closest summer friends. When her parents leave her with her older sister for the summer she sees the perfect opportunity to do the one thing her best friend Beck has tried to push every summer - the ultimate bucket list. (Currently a work in progress so any feedback would be appreciated :))
