The setting to the story is the same as in ScaleWiz's Neko☆Shelter, but the time is different.

A couple of years ago, about half of earth's population became nekos (neko is cat in Japanese, so they are essentially cat people). This created mass confusion, which caused lawlessness. By now, there's a hierarchy. Humans are at the top, the richest becoming aristocrats. Nekos are the very scum of the earth, hated by most and helped by almost none.

Nekos are completely human, save for having cat ears and a tail. The ears and tail vary in color from person to person. They are treated as beasts, and are either sold to be slaves or brutally murdered. There aren't many people that would protect nekos or support them.

The setting isn't what the story focuses on, though. It's a romance...

As he tried to figure out where he is, the door opened as who entered was a woman with long dark hair......and a set or rather long bunny ears.
