Karsen Mathews is 14 years old and hasn't said a word in two years. She has anger issues, depression, and a whole bunch of other problems. She thinks it's best to just keep quiet.

Blake Stevens is also 14 years old and deals with a lot of anxiety and depression. She faces a lot of the 'mean girls' at school because of her popular football player boyfriend.

When these two meet by sheer chance, they don't think much of each other.....until they get to know each other and become scary-good friends.
Keeping quiet might just get a little harder than Karsen thinks.
