Heather has a perfect, ordinary life in which everything happens to be going her way. She has amazing friends, parents, the lot. But something hangs over her whole life: on her sixteenth birthday she will become a vampire. Knowing this fact for as long as she can remember, she didn't let any moment pass her by. But now its time, she has to move to another world filled with humans' fairytale creatures to live with a brother she has never even met before.
