Heather has a perfect, ordinary life in which everything happens to be going her way. She has amazing friends, parents, the lot. But something hangs over her whole life: on her sixteenth birthday she will become a vampire. Knowing this fact for as long as she can remember, she didn't let any moment pass her by. But now its time, she has to move to another world filled with humans' fairytale creatures to live with a brother she has never even met before. No matter how hard she tries she can't find anything good coming out of this, but who knows, she may become a part of something bigger than she could have ever imagined...
