Tekeyla Friday is the children's programmer for the Chinook Regional Library. She plans children's literacy programs and writes funny puppet shows. She had written stories since she was eight years old and always wanted to be a children's writer. In 2010 and 2011, R.E. A.L Canadian Kids Magazine published two of the pieces in this book. She released a picture book, Bothers: Powers of the Archangel Michael, published by Balboa Press in 2014.
