15 year old girl Carter Skyee always had a rough life. Her father left her when she was a baby and now she lives with her mum, step dad, step brother and step sister. She loves her step brother and sister but they can be very annoying and can make her want to cry sometimes. Her step dad probably despises her since he always judges the way she looks and eats. He even called her a slob...twice!! She loved her mum but when sh gets angry she usually vents her anger out on Carter. Carter always loved the sky and at night she would usually look up at the sky and sing either Ed Sheeren's Photograph, or Taylor Swift's Safe And Sound. Carter has always dreamed about her own freedom ever since she was five years old. But tonight, after her fifteenth birthday, at the stroke of midnight, she will put her fate to the test~
